Meet Our Founder

Gretchen D. Orrin, President & Founder

A trailblazer in Georgia’s construction industry, Gretchen D. Orrin founded Athena Construction Group to offer a new, collaborative vision for excellence in concrete construction. A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Gretchen brings over three decades of leadership, field experience and civic engagement to the industry.

She has served in leadership roles within the Association of General Contractors (AGC), including chairing the Executive Alliance Program and continues to advocate for opportunities for women-owned businesses in construction. Gretchen’s love for giving back is reflected in Athena’s ongoing support for local charities, youth programs, community development initiatives and the wounded warrior programs.
