Our Leader
Gretchen D. Orrin is the founder and President of Athena Construction Group, Inc. She saw a desire and need within the construction industry for a freshness in attitude, skill and communication.
She knew that a team could be built with those principles and a "new experience in construction" could be offered in the Atlanta market.
Gretchen has been in the construction industry since she graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in 1994. She is an active member in the Association of General Contractors and recently served as chairperson for the Young Leadership Program. Also, she finds civic duty to be a tremendous value to the community. And with that belief, has served on various city Design and Architectual review committees within the City of Hapeville and the City of College Park.
Gretchen and the entire Athena Construction team are firm believers in charitable works and donates their time promoting those that need a helping hand. Athena Construction Group helps provide Christmas for the children from the Department of Human Services. Along with Christmas, her team donates time and goods to the Atlanta Food Bank, Hillside Hospital, Briarcliff Animal Hospital and to the Toys for Tots initiative.
It is important to Gretchen that the Athena Construction Group staff is provided with an opportunity for awareness of those less fortunate than themselves. Her belief of giving back to the community is found within the giving spirit of the entire Athena Team. Gretchen believes it is her responsibility to help develop leaders of tomorrow’s generation.
